Returning to his barber shop on Fleet Street with a new identity, Todd swears vengeance upon those who wronged him and the twisted plot unfolds.   

Appearing on Broadway and in London in several versions, Sweeney Todd won two Golden Globe awards and was nominated for three Academy Awards.
