About the walk:  

Join the Natural Leaders Project on a journey through time and space as we explore the history of Lethbridge's iconic river valley. Local historian and time traveler, Belinda Crowson, will guide us through many eras of human history in this place. From the infamous battle between the Blackfoot and the Cree to coalmining, settlement, and the trestle bridge to the modern development our incredible park system, this journey will look at how leadership and citizen stewardship play a vital role in preserving this crown jewel in our city.  

Walk leader: Belinda Crowson 

Belinda Crowson is a local historian, researcher and author who has written on everything from built heritage to prostitution and from sugar beets to murder. Belinda is also actively involved in the local community and believes individuals and the community win when people volunteer, join clubs and get active in the community.
