Join us for a festive ornament-making workshop with Terry Beaton!
In this hands-on holiday session, participants will create their own custom Christmas gnome ornament, choosing from a selection of wood types and styling it with the wackiest, wildest hair imaginable. Along the way, Terry will share insights into the art of woodturning and how a simple piece of wood can be transformed into a one-of-a-kind creation.

Please Note: While our artist demonstrations are usually free to attend, this workshop includes a fee as each participant will be creating and keeping a finished ornament.
Workshop Details: Sessions are 30 minutes long, with five spots available at each time slot:
1:00 PM | 1:30 PM | 2:00 PM | 2:30 PM
You will be required to select a time during registration.
About the Artist
Terry Beaton is a local woodturner and member of the Chinook Wood Turning Guild. He has been wood working since 1995 and has been building up his expertise by exploring different tools and techniques.
He likes using both exotic and local woods, selected for their colour, grain patterns, and interest. Terry makes pieces that are both functional and beautiful.
