This rain or shine event will be held from 11:30am – 4:00pm and is open to the entire community! The Easter Egg Festival has become a staple of the Southern Maryland community each spring and features egg hunts for children up to age 12, visits with the Easter Bunny and Mrs. Cottontail, live entertainment, free arts and crafts, face painting, and goods and services for sale by local area vendors.
Egg hunt tickets will be available for advance online purchase on CivicPlus starting Monday, March 2. General attendance to this festival is FREE.
R&P is seeking supporters and sponsors for this event! A variety of sponsorship opportunities are available with various perks and benefits for your business or organization. Each level provides promotional opportunities that will be distributed to over 12,000 households and viewed on social media and the county website.

Net proceeds from the Easter Egg Festival, along with the department’s annual golf tournament, are used to fund the Recreation & Parks Scholarship Program, providing qualified individual applicants the opportunity to participate in a R&P program at a discounted rate.
