From15:00-18:00 on Sunday 26th October in Eardisland Village Hall, Ella Curry will be exhibiting her botanical paintings, created for her Kew Gardens Grow Wild Youth Grant. The exhibition and refreshments are free, with donations welcome to fundraise for the Eardisland Environment and Sustainability Group.
This exhibition will be the culmination of Ella’s project ‘Flowers of the Arrow’, for which she was awarded a £500 grant earlier this year to identify, survey, record, and paint native river plants along the River Arrow. Ella, who is an ornithologist and entomologist as well as an artist and botanist, will be present at the exhibition to enthusiastically answer any questions related to her project and/or any of her areas of interest and expertise, so please feel free to say hi!
