Es wird wieder düster in der Met Bar - die Black Metal Night geht in eine weitere Runde!
Causam bringen einmal mehr ihre post-apokalyptischen Soundlandschaften auf unsere Bühne. Drud aus Süddeutschland sind aus der Asche von Totengeflüster entstanden und zelebrieren Post Black Metal.

Der Vorverkauf läuft bis 19.00 Uhr am Konzerttag. Die restlichen Tickets werden an der Abendkasse erhältlich sein. Reservationen nehmen wir aus organisatorischen Gründen nicht mehr entgegen.
Causam
Post Apocalyptic Black Metal.
Unstoppable tunes melted with torn harmonies, massive double bass, and blast beats forged in the darkest hours.
Doomsday lyrics about past crisis, future apocalypse, and the struggles between – this is Causam.
Formed in January 2020 by Abaddon, Arcis, and Arawan, the band became complete with Andras and Grievas shortly after.
By the end of 2020, the composing and studio work for the debut album “Doomsday Rapture” was done.
It was released on 12.02.2021, and thus, the band went public.
In early May 2021, Arcis announced he was leaving the band for personal reasons and to focus on recording and sound.
At the end of May, Surt joined as the new rhythm guitarist.
The band played their first gig at Black Hole Fest II, opening the festival for headliners Afsky and Dark Funeral.
In July 2022, the band announced that Surt would take over the vocals instead of Grievas, who left the band for personal reasons.
May 2023 saw the birth of the 2nd album, "Holistic Despair".

Drud
Drud ist nach einer Sagengestalt/einem Geist aus dem süddeutschen Volksglauben benannt - die "Drud" sitzt auf der Brust des Schlafenden und verursacht Alpträume, Beklemmung und Atemnot. Die Musik kann grob als Post-Black Metal beschrieben werden. Während Black Metal als Grundlage von Drud’s Stil gesehen werden kann, werden Elemente anderer (Sub-)Genres wie Death oder Heavy Metal in ihre Musik eingeflochten. So entstehen vielseitige, "moderne Black Metal"-Songs. In den Texten geht es um Depression, Melancholie, Natur, Nihilismus sowie Gesellschafts- und Religionskritik.
Drud wurde 2021 nach dem Split-Up von TOTENGEFLÜSTER neu gegründet.
