Internet Safety for Middle Schoolers

The Berkshire District Attorney’s Office and Berkshire County Kids Place have partnered to launch cyber safety programming in Berkshire County. Research shows that children are exposed to content and pressures online far earlier than caregivers realize. Children are not only faced with navigating online situations, but they also hear about them from friends and peers.

Middle school-aged youth are invited to participate in one 60-minute session to learn about safe online behavior, conducted by Berkshire County Kids Place staff utilizing the NetSmartz Curriculum. A separate activity will be provided for parents/caregivers for the duration of the program.
