Luminaries at Blue Ridge Memorial Park

Every December, City staff make and light thousands of luminaries to display on the graves at Blue Ridge Memorial Park to honor families whose loved ones are buried in the cemetery. The Luminary Display will be Friday, Dec. 12, 2025. City staff and volunteers place and light more than 8,000 luminaries. The first luminary display was held in 1995.

If you want to volunteer to help light the luminaries, please come to Blue Ridge Memorial Park at 4:00 pm.

The rain date will be Friday, Dec. 19, 2024. If the City has to cancel or postpone this event for any reason, staff will post a cancellation notice on the City website.
