Join us on April 22 from 5–8 p.m. at the Leland Cultural Arts Center, located at 1212 Magnolia Village Way. Participants can enjoy a variety of activities throughout the evening, including:

Seed Starting
Clothing and Shoe Drive with Carolina Green Clothing Recyclers
History and Future of Eagles Island Lecture (6-7:30 p.m.) with Matt Collogan of the North Carolina State University Cooperative Extension.

Participants can visit booths hosted by We Live Here and the Leland Area Garden Club.

We Live Here Leland serves the community through projects like litter cleanups, tree planting, and advocating for improved biking and walking trails. They also take part in Town events like Lend a Hand in Leland.

The Leland Area Garden Club is a new nonprofit and social group focused on creating a more resilient landscape in the greater Leland area. Their efforts include planting native and pollinator gardens, installing bluebird boxes, and working with local and state partners to incorporate native plants into landscaping plans.
