An interactive training workshop to understand the prevalence of modern slavery within the construction sector, your responsibilities and the best practice associated with tackling it.

Designed for:

Construction site managers and project managers.

Those responsible for tackling modern slavery within your business and HR and labour agencies

Those responsible for addressing human rights risks across the whole supply chain.

Overview

Workshops will be led by industry experts. By the end of the workshop you will:


Understand how modern slavery occurs in the construction sector: the potential risks, impacts and the business case for tackling it

Know how to spot that someone may be being exploited and how to respond

Be confident in your next steps to deter, detect and deal with modern slavery in your business

Be familiar with creating a strategic framework for tackling slavery in global supply chains

Have the tools you need to implement what you’ve learnt.


Workshop Booking Process

Choose your workshop and click on the relevant "Find out more and register" link and register and pay for your place on the Eventbrite system. Please enter a discount code if you have one. 

 Workshop Cost

The cost is £145 (+VAT) per delegate for those with a valid discount code provided by a project sponsor. All other delegate places are £225 (+VAT).

 Free places are available by invitation of project sponsors only. If you have received a code use this when booking your place. 

All tickets are non-refundable for cancellations less than seven days before the workshop.

FAQ’s

Is my registration/ticket transferrable? Please contact us if you require your ticket to be transferred to another person.

What are my transport/parking options getting to the event? Joining instructions will be sent the week before the event.

I have a question or am unsure as to whether I qualify for a free place? To receive a free place or discounted price, you will have received a specific code from one of the programme project sponsors.

Stronger Together is a multi-stakeholder initiative aiming to reduce modern slavery, particularly hidden forced labour, labour trafficking and other third-party exploitation of workers.
