This will be held as part of our regular Seasonal Stroll on Thursday 12th March, with a slightly longer time of an hour and a half. (12 noon until 1:30pm). Ollie will join the walking group for a relaxed and social walking-workshop of photography basics and some simple photography projects we'll try on-the-go. No previous photo experience required, just a charged up phone camera, and of course if you have a separate camera, please feel free to bring it!Thu 26th March - Lochend Park and back - After our visit in January, we'll head along to Lochend Park again to see the seasonal changes at the pond. This walk will likely be a little longer, ending around 1:15pm.Thu 9th April - We'll be back out on Leith Links again, with our usual stop-offs at the orchard, and book box.Thu 23rd April - SPECIAL EXTENDED MINI LITTER PICK WALKAs it's Spring Clean Scotland, we're going to do a mini litter pick as part of our walk on Restalrig Railway Path. We'll head round, and find a space next to some benches, where folks can have a seat, and those that would like to can help us do a mini 30-min litter pick of a small area. We'll bring litter pickers, bags, etc, in our wee trolley. This walk will be approximately 1 hour and 30 minutes, running 12 noon til 1:30pm. Restalrig Railway Path is a circular path that takes us round the old railway path, among the trees, passing by the allotments, and back down through the Links.INFORMATION:Leith Links, Restalrig Railway Path, and the paths to and from Lochend Park are generally flat and in a good condition for walking and wheeling. There are some inclines on the Restalrig Railway Path, however nothing too severe, and mostly at the start of that walk, and at a gradient.There's no cost to come along, just bring yourself.You don't have to book for these walks. You can just come along, however if you like getting reminders, you can book a free place for the walks here on Eventbrite.For all walks, we'll be meeting in our car park 5 minutes beforehand. Please bring a secure lock. We do not have any to loan out & bikes and scooters are not allowed in the building. Bikes and scooters are left at your own risk and Duncan Place will not accept any responsibility for any damage or theft. CCTV does cover the bike racks.Duncan Place has 1 disabled parking space and 1 further space alongside the exterior fencing, both available on a first come basis.Parking bays have been painted on the road outside the building and on-street (card only) pay and display meters have been installed by City of Edinburgh Council, at a rate of £3.80 per hour, Monday to Friday 8:30am until 5:30pm (correct at time of writing).There are also yellow zig zags on the street.
