- **Event Description**: Bury Farm will be running Unaffiliated Combined Training, Dressage & Show Jumping on Sunday 22nd March. Competitors may enter one, two or all three disciplines.

Classes 1 - 8 will be part of the Combined Training which will consist of Dressage & Showjumping.

Classes 9 - 17 will be Unaffiliated Dressage classes at Intro, Prelim, Novice, Elementary & PYO Short Arena.

Classes 18 - 24 will be Unaffiliated Showjumping classes from 40cm - 1.00m.

Entries close at MIDDAY on Thursday 19th March.

Times will be published on our website after 18.00 on Friday 20th March.

The dressage section will take place in the Outdoor Arenas and the Showjumping will take place in the Indoor Arenas.

The Showjumping Course will stay the same throughout the day and will have no doubles. It will be run as a Table A4 (which is the whole round against the clocks where combinations are placed based on lowest faults then quickest time). Please note: 3rd refusal = elimination.

Combined Training - A competitor rides their Dressage test before their Showjumping round at assigned times. Results will be calculated by SJ faults being deducted from their dressage score to provide a final score. The quickest Showjumping place will determine the placings for those on an equal final score. 

Only those who enter the Combined Training Classes will get a Combined Training result - you will NOT get one if you enter a straight Dressage class & a straight Showjumping class.

If competitors wish to enter more than 1 discipline, please add this to your class notes when doing your entries so we can take this into consideration when doing the times.

Qualifiers:

Combined Training - The Combined Training Classes are Trailblazers Direct Qualifiers - the top 5 overall qualify (Ponies: Prelim-60cm & Novice-70cm / Horses: Prelim-60cm & Novice-70cm & Elementary-80cm). Dressage - Any score over 60% qualifies for the Bury Farm Unaffiliated Dressage Championships 2026. Any score 58% or more qualifies for the Trailblazers Second Rounds - Trailblazer Second Round Cards can be purchased from the Show Secretary for £12. The Dressage Classes are also Sunshine Tour Qualifiers - The 1st - 3rd overall in the Intro - Elementary qualify for the Sunshine Tour Championship. Showjumping - The top 6 in each section will qualify for the Bury Farm Unaffiliated Showjumping Championship 2026 (40cm - 1.00m). The Showjumping Classes are Trailblazers Direct Qualifiers - the top 8 in each section will qualify. Trailblazer Cards can be purchased from the Show Secretary for £12. Classes are also a Sunshine Tour Qualifiers - The 1st - 3rd in each section (50cm - 1.00m) will qualify for the Sunshine Tour Championship. Entries and Times
Entries for Bury Farm shows must be made online via the event link on the Events Tab of the Bury Farm website, www.buryfarmequestrianvillage.co.uk. . Entries will not be accepted after the closing date unless space allows.

Once submitted entries may be changed prior to the times being published by contacting ashlie@buryfarmestates.co.uk with entry changes.
Times will be posted on the event link on the day prior to the competition.
Once the times have been published entries may still be amended but only if a horse and/or rider can be substituted into the class and time on the published schedule.
ENTRIES CANNOT BE CHANGED AT THE VENUE ON THE DAY OF COMPETITION.

In line with Bury Farm biosecurity measures please have your passports ready for inspection. Spot checks will be made and the organisers reserve the right to refuse entry to competitors who are not able to provide identity and vaccination details prior to entry to the show ground.

BIOSECURITY MEASURES
All horses must be travelled with passports which can demonstrate that all vaccinations are up to date (Bury Farm operates a 12-month vaccination policy)
Horses must also show no clinical signs of the following when attending the centre:
recent cough of unknown cause
recent nasal discharge of unknown cause
enlarged lymph nodes
fever (>38.5 degrees)
recent onset of neurological signs of unknown cause
diarrhoea
Horses must also
not be under current investigation for EHV infection
have not been in contact with and is not kept on the same premises as a horse known to have or be under investigation for EHV
have not travelled out of the country for the past 28 days.
Horses should NOT be brought to the centre if they are not in good health on the date of travel.

Toilets will be available for use in the International show centre.

The Paddocks Cafe team will provide a service on the day of competition and will be serving hot food and drink.

Competitors may not access the livery facilities during their visit to the centre. 

1. The decision of the judges & stewards in all cases is final. They reserve the right to alter, amend or cancel any part of the competition or to refuse any entry without stating a reason.
2. The organiser of this event has taken reasonable precautions to ensure the health, safety and welfare of everyone present. For these measures to be effective, everyone must take all reasonable precautions to avoid and prevent accidents occurring, and must obey instructions of the organisers, officials and stewards.
3. The organisers will not be held responsible and accept no liability for any accident, loss, damage, injury or illness to horses, owners, rider, spectators, vehicles or their contents and accessories, breach of contract or in any other way whatsoever. It is a condition of entry that each entrant shall agree to indemnify against any legal action arising from such incident.
4. All competitors must be suitably dressed in correct riding attire to current British Safety Standards. Riding / Jodhpur boots must be worn for all classes. 
5. Horses & ponies tied to lorry or trailers must not be left unattended.
6. Please ensure the area around your horsebox / trailer is clean and tidy. Droppings collected and not swept onto or left on BFEC. Please take litter home or use the bins provided.
7. Children must be supervised at all times
8. Whilst outside arenas, horses and ponies should be moved at a walk only.
9. No dogs allowed, other than in Lorry Park Only and MUST be on a lead at all times
10. Drivers are urged to take extra care when driving around the Show Centre and in the surrounding villages. Please be mindful of horses, pedestrians & other vehicles.
