Celebrate the end to a busy season of reef restoration with Te Kohuroa Rewilding Initiative and Mountains to Sea Conservation Trust.Discover the range of biodiversity from tāmure (snapper), red moki, eagle rays, kōura (crayfish) and more! What secrets are the kina hiding? Why are the rimurimu/seaweeds so important? What is lurking in the tidepools? Safe fun for the whole whānau, all equipment provided including an experienced guide! In the waterJoin Mountains to Sea Conservation Trust's experienced snorkel guides and discover what is below the surface at Te Kohuroa. ⛱ On landGuided rock pooling around exploring the interdial zone, discovering what critters live within the rockpools exposed during lowtide. ? Up the awaGuided stream walk exploring Kohuroa stream, looking into what bugs and fish are inhabiting the waters. ?
