It's been a while!  Matakana Comedy Club is BACK and brings four of New Zealand's sharpest stand-ups to The Stables for a great night of fun. Arrive for dinner, settle in, and watch a lineup that's been shaped by 7 Days, The Project, Taskmaster NZ and the Comedy Festival's biggest award.

On the bill:

Angella Dravid | winner of the 2025 Fred Award for Best NZ Show at the New Zealand International Comedy Festival, only the third woman in the award's history to take it out. Taskmaster NZ champion, Billy T Award winner, and one of the most inventive stand-ups working in the country right now.

Nick Rado | six-time Best Comedy MC winner at the NZ Comedy Guild Awards and 2019 Best Male Comedian. Former head writer on 7 Days for over 300 episodes, and the first Kiwi comic to record a US comedy special for Drybar.  Rodney MoreFM superstar!

Pax Assadi | writer and star of Raised by Refugees (Best Comedy, NZTV Awards 2022), regular host of The Project and The Great Kiwi Bake Off. A Billy T Award nominee with one of the sharpest comic voices on New Zealand television.

Tarun Mohanbhai | known to Auckland audiences as "That Indian Guy," a Billy T nominee and comedy circuit veteran since 1996, with screen credits including Shortland Street and Guns Akimbo.

General Admission $35 + booking fee
Shared table seating at the back of the room with full view of the stage, relaxed spot in the house. A small snack menu on offer.

Dinner & Show $85 + booking fee 
Includes a bistro menu (choice of main and dessert selected on the night), and priority seating at shared tables closest to the stage.
