Kawau Bay Action Group and the Rodney Community Team warmly welcome one and all to celebrate the Maori New Year in style with our second annual Matariki Festival!

This years festival offerings include: Afternoon tea in the Betty Paxton, Arts and Crafts with the Mahu East Library crew, play trailer equpment rock climbing wall in the carpark, hot food for sale, a licensed bar, community meal and 'Soup'O'Rama' competition, marsh mellow toasting, and a family dance party to finish with local DJ legend Wendy Douglas!  

Stayed tuned for an official programme release with timings of the various activites.
