In this interactive session, families will plant their own microgreens using recycled materials and take home a simple growing kit they can look after themselves. Because microgreens grow quickly, children can harvest and eat what they’ve grown, making this a rewarding and confidence-boosting activity that extends well beyond the workshop.

Bring a small plastic tray (meat tray)

This workshop is suitable for children aged 6–12 years. Each child attending must have their own ticket and be accompanied by an adult. Accurate registration helps us prepare materials and manage activities safely.

This Love Food Hate Waste workshop is proudly supported by Auckland Council and delivered by Compost Collective.
