Coffee & Cars returns to Matakana Village this summer, bringing together a curated line-up of classic, vintage, and modern vehicles in one of Auckland’s most loved destinations.

Expect everything from beautifully restored classics to head-turning modern machines, paired with excellent coffee, relaxed village vibes, and plenty to explore beyond the cars.

? More than a car meet

This one’s not just for car enthusiasts. Coffee & Cars is an easy, enjoyable morning out for partners, friends, and families too.

While the cars take centre stage, the Village offers plenty to do:

?️ Browse boutique shops and artisan stores
☕️ Enjoy brunch, coffee, and sweet treats at local cafés
? Catch a film at the iconic Matakana Cinemas
? Let the kids explore the playground and nearby streams
?‍♀️ Wander the Village or nearby river paths
? Make a day of it with nearby vineyards and eateries after the event

It’s the kind of morning where everyone wins.

? Want to display your car?

All are welcome to park and show off their pride and joy in the Matakana School carpark, directly across the road from the Village. There’s often a great informal line-up there that adds to the atmosphere.

Displays in the main Village carpark are by invitation only. If you’d like to be considered for future events, get in touch and we’ll connect you with the organiser.

Visitor parking is available at the Matakana Community Carpark on Matakana Valley Road, just a short walk into the Village.

Entry is free, with a gold coin koha encouraged for Coastguard Kawau. Their volunteer crew will be on site raising funds to support vital marine rescue services across more than 6,500 square miles of coastline.
