Join us as WonderCat celebrates its first anniversary with a unique event of contrasts and connections, where cold arts meet burning hearts, and creativity flows freely in the intimate, atmospheric universe of WonderCat.
The term Pole of Cold refers to the coldest places on Earth. Beyond geography, it is a symbol of emotional and existential landscape: the moments of silence, isolation, and reflection that coexist with the burning pulse of life and art. This contrast - cold outside, fire inside - is the heart of this special celebration.

Immerse yourself in a seamless ambient sound journey where you are invited to draw, paint, or simply drift, letting the deep drones and textures guide your imagination.

Art Exhibition
Experience an evocative exhibition exploring the tension between frost and fire, solitude and passion. Featuring works by Anita Famije (Antwerp, Belgium) and Jana Komaritsa, founder of WonderCat, the show explores cold landscapes, dark moods, and the inner passion that refuses to fade.

WonderCat is a multifunctional art space, gallery, atelier and art studio in Leiden, envisioned and led by multidisciplinary artist Jana Komaritsa. WonderCat is more than just a space - it is a living artistic universe, a vibrant tapestry of wonder, mystery, dreams, imagination, and beauty, infused with the ever-enchanting charm of cats, which is a project’s and artist’s muse.
