Pruning 101!

Pruning 101!!!! We are excited to kick off our first of many workshops for 2026. Join Lucas for Pruning 101 on Saturday February 21st from 2pm-3:30pm here at Chicory Grove Farm. Ever wonder how to prune something or should you prune it and when? Is Crape Murder really a thing? Our subject will be pruning winter dormant shrubs and trees with a focus on Roses, Climbing Roses, Butterflybush, Hydrangea, Crape Myrtle and More!!! We will also cover pruning do’s and don’t’s along with anxiety free pruning tips. The cost of the workshop is $35 per person. Each attendee will have the option to participate hands on. All you need to bring is a notebook, leather gloves, and a pair of pruners if you have them. This workshop will be hosted, rain or shine. Registration is open now. The $35 registration fee is due at the time of registration and is non-refundable unless Chicory Grove Farm Must cancel. In the event of a cancellation this Workshop will be rescheduled for Sunday February 22nd from 3:00-4:30. 15 slots are available for registration. Children 12-18 are welcome but are required to have their own registration and fee paid.
