Amanda Whittington’s sparkling comedy ‘Ladies’ Day’, directed by Leigh White, tells the story of four female fish-filleters in a fish factory in Hull. 

Work, love, and life are just one long, hard slog for the fish-filleting foursome - Pearl, Jan, Shelley, and Linda - who are closely factory-supervised by Joe. But the ladies’ fortunes are set to change. 
As the girls head off to Royal Ascot on Ladies’ Day for a flirt, flutter, fizz, and fun, secrets start to be revealed. If their luck holds out, they could hit the jackpot and a lot more besides!
