Join us down Leicester Central Library on Tuesday 16th December for the festive, matinee launch of a horticultural blockbuster!

Set to be featured by the Good Food Guide in 2026 (!) The recipes, reflections, poems, and artworks in this book have been volunteered by a wide range of people, living across Leicester and beyond. 

Its contributors include — professional caterers, gardeners and enthusiasts; young people experiencing homelessness; adults with lived experience of mental health challenges, and a broader community of people interested in thinking about how gardening, food, and creativity might nurture more than just vegetables.

From 'Paradise' (a poem)... To Malcom Heaven's heavenly bread... From 'Kapor Mártás' (Hungarian Dill Sauce — put it on everything)...To 'Pizza Alla Nerano' with courgettes and love from our chef in Rome.

With 'Thyme for Vegetables'...Beetroot beats and blackberry jams. This bumper book of horticultural goodness will have you running to the garden, gripping a fork.
