Join us at De Montfort University for an evening with Tony Reed, DMU alumnus and Production Creative Director, Animation at BBC Studios Kids & Family, as he shares insights from his career in television production and the changing world of broadcasting and streaming.Tony graduated from DMU in 1993 with a combined honours degree in Media and Fine Art and began his career in children's television production shortly afterwards. Since then, he has worked across both the BBC's public service and commercial sides, as well as with broadcasters and platforms including Sky, Disney, Nickelodeon and Netflix.He currently leads animation teams at BBC Studios Kids & Family and has extensive experience as a producer, writer, director, executive producer and senior leader. His work spans animation and live action, with experience of working with global partners, broadcasters and streamers on co-production, co-commissioning and funding opportunities.
