Looking for a weeknight reason to celebrate celluloid? Join us at The Mahoning Drive-In Theater for Thursday Thread-Up! From grindhouse to arthouse, cult classics to deep cuts, we present a series of single-feature 35mm screenings several Thursday nights a month, to get you ready for the weekend! 

Take a deep dive into the murky depths of cinema history, lighting up the mighty Mahoning screen with singular sensations several times a month, all season long!

Join four young friends as they venture into the wilderness to get a peek at a rumored dead body, and find laughs, tears, and adventure along the way, in an unforgettable coming-of-age tale based on a Stephen King story, and directed by the late Rob Reiner.  

Set in the early 1960s, the music and pop culture of the era will take you back to a simpler time, with themes of friendship, belonging, and loss that will resonate with anyone who was ever a kid. 

Featuring a cast of young talent on the brink of future stardom: Wil Wheaton, River Phoenix, Corey Feldman, Jerry O’Connell, Kiefer Sutherland, John Cusack, and narrated by Richard Drefuss.  

You’ll laugh, you’ll cry, you’ll swear off pie.

This screening will feature a very special tribute to legend Rob Reiner.

Gates open at 6pm, Showtime at Sundown.

Be sure to arrive early for limited edition merch, raffles, a live DJ set and more fun.

Tickets are $8.00 General Admission, $5 for children 12 and under and Mahoning Drive-In Patreon members.
