The SJ Cup is the Mountain West's Premier Open Martial Arts Celebration!
This is more than a tournament—it’s a gathering of passion, discipline, and respect where every athlete has a place to compete, learn, and shine.

We are profoundly honored to announce that Kancho Masaya Kohama, World President of the International Shotokan Shobukan Karate Association (ISSKA) of Japan, will be in attendance, observing and supporting athletes throughout the event.

THIS IS A TRUE OPEN FORMAT!
✅ ALL Martial Arts Styles Welcome: Karate (any style), Tae Kwon Do, Kung Fu, Tai Chi, Jiu-Jitsu, Kenpo, and more!

✅ ALL Abilities: We proudly and actively welcome athletes with physical and mental disabilities. Adapted divisions ensure a safe, fair, and empowering experience for everyone.

• Certified Officiating: Our referees and judges are certified by WKF (World Karate Federation), PKF (Panamerican Karate Federation), and NKF (National Karate Federation).
• Standardized Rules: All kumite and kata divisions will follow official WKF/NKF rules for consistency, fairness, and safety.

Divisions: Structured by age, rank, weight, and ability to ensure fair matches for all.

EARLY Registration Fees: $85 (1 or 2 events), $10 (additional event), $30 (family kata), $9 spectators, $15 coaches
Includes competitor gift & one spectator pass.
