This course is designed to give students an introduction to the skills and mindset necessary to carry a concealed handgun for self defense.
Defensive Handgun Fundamentals features reality based hands on training as opposed to traditional handgun safety courses which tend to take a more academic approach.
We utilize Next Level Training S.I.R.T. pistols allowing students to practice shooting fundamentals safely and without using ammunition.
Defensive Handgun Fundamentals meets the Louisiana State Police requirements for a concealed handgun permit if you choose to get one.

Students will also have the opportunity to participate in reality based training scenarios that will put all of these skills to the test.

A safe reliable handgun (if you wish to carry both semi automatic handguns and revolvers you will need to qualify with both I have a variety of rentals available for $30 which includes ammunition)
50 rounds of factory loaded ammunition (no reloads)
