Since 1981, National Crime Victims’ Rights Week (NCVRW) has worked to confront and remove barriers to achieving justice for all victims of crime, as well as acknowledging and celebrating those who have taken extraordinary actions to help victims of crime in their communities. 

The 2026 NCVRW theme is LISTEN. ACT. ADVOCATE. The theme underscores a call-to-action to recognize that serving our community and protecting victims is a responsibility we ALL share – no matter what our professional or personal roles within our community are.
