About the Author

Renee Ventrice is your favorite Wineaux with zero filter and endless stories. A Navy veteran, Sommelier, award-winning entrepreneur, and natural storyteller- she’s known for turning hot messes into hilarious, relatable life lessons and oversharing at parties.

Renee has been blissfully married to her husband, Don since 1994; his chapter, “Love at First Sip” would accurately be subtitled “The Failed Booty Call.” They have an adult son, Gino, and a Jack Russell Terrier, Beemer- born in 2006 and still kicking as of 2026!

She is the fifth of six siblings, born in Hawaii, raised in Nebraska, and has been writing since winning her first creative writing contest in 1977. She lives for real talk, loud laughter, and conversations that make most people uncomfortable, even when spoken in whispers. Renee’s super powers are being able to cry on request, and assigning wine POURsonalities® wine to people that are uncannily accurate.

POUR Relationship Choices is her debut book that reads like a conversation with an old friend and leaves you anxiously waiting for the next book in the POUR Series.
