Citizen Science Bird Count

Join a Virginia Master Naturalist for this free, fun, and easy event that engages bird watchers of all ages in counting birds to create a real-time snapshot of bird populations. Participants will count and report their sightings to help researchers from Audubon create an instantaneous snapshot of global bird populations. Some binoculars available on a first-come, first-serve basis. Meet at the Visitor Center.
