Tai chi is an ancient Chinese slowed martial art often referred to as meditation movement. It is a series of varied postures and movements that flow into one another. Because it is a mix of exercise and meditation, your brain gets a work out too - through co-ordination but also the wonderful relaxing and calming effect proven to calm the nervous system also. Tai Chi has innumerable health benefits particularly in respiratory and heart health, but also boosts your immune system. The movements enhance your body's coordination and flexibility and balance.
