BIO: Honey Ryder are a British music group from London (with roots also in Staffordshire). They burst onto the chart scene with two UK Top 40 singles—“Numb” and “Fly Away”—from their debut album Rising Up (2009), which showcased a mix of heartfelt acoustic tunes and radio-ready hooks.
Their follow-up albums Marley’s Chains (2012) and Born in a Bottle (2014) saw the band developing their sound further, including recording sessions in Nashville and drawing on influences from classic folk-rock and country-tinged storytelling.
Honey Ryder have shared stages with artists such as Texas, Will Young, Michael Bolton and Hue & Cry, performed at notable festivals including Isle of Wight and Cornbury, and appeared on BBC Radio 2 and This Morning on ITV.
Over nearly two decades, their music has bridged the gap between folk-rooted storytelling and contemporary roots-rock, building a loyal fan community and continuing to release new material directly to supporters while maintaining their independent spirit.
