We’re heading to the Peak District for the EB Fitness group hike 🌄

This one is all about community, movement, fresh air and pushing ourselves outside the gym.

📏 The Details

Distance: 7.8 miles
Terrain: Varied – rocky sections, inclines, uneven ground and open trails
Intensity: Moderate
Pace: Steady with regular breaks

⏱ Walking time (excluding breaks): approx. 3.5 -4 hours
⏱ Total time including breaks: around 5 hours

We’ll stop for water, photos and lunch along the way.

📍 Meeting Point

Parking along Roach Road
We’ll meet near the bottom of Hens Cloud, I’ll send the exact location closer to the time

🕘 Start at 10:30 
Please arrive 10–15 minutes early so we can set off on time.

🎒 What to Bring
    •    Walking boots or suitable trainers (good grip is important)
    •    Backpack
    •    Water 
    •    Packed lunch
    •    Raincoat (it is the Peak District after all!)

⚠️ There are no toilets on route

👥 Group Info

This will be a mixed ability group.

There will be a couple of team leaders, so don’t worry about falling behind but we will aim to stay together throughout. This is about supporting each other and it is certainly not a race 💪

☕ After the Hike

At the end there will be:
    •    Tea
    •    Coffee
    •    Cold drinks
    •    Treats

Because balance 😉

⚠️ Important Information
This is a moderate hike with inclines and uneven terrain. Please only attend if you feel physically able to complete the distance.

 •    If you have any medical conditions I’m not already aware of, please message me privately beforehand.

 •    Bring any required medication (e.g., inhalers).

  •    The hike will go ahead in light rain, but severe weather conditions may result in cancellation (we’ll confirm nearer the time).

If you are bringing children or dogs, please message me beforehand so we can make sure it’s suitable and safe for the group.
