- **Event Description**: A hands-on workshop where you’ll watch and take part in actors being directed in real time and see exactly what makes a performance work.About this EventMost performances don’t fall apart because of talent. They fall apart because of unclear direction. This workshop shows you how to fix that in real time. You won’t be sitting through lectures or theory. You’ll be working on scenes in the room, watching direction being given, adjusted, and explored live.I’ll be directing actors throughout the session, using the same approach I take into my own film work, so you can see exactly how different choices shape performance. You’ll see:how different approaches to direction change performancehow actors interpret notes, and where it often goes wronghow small adjustments can completely shift a sceneActors and filmmakers will work together throughout, giving both sides a clearer understanding of how communication actually works on set. This is designed to feel like being on set — with real direction, real adjustments, and real-time feedback.Group size is limited to 12 people so everyone gets time to work. If this session sells out, additional dates may be released.Who it’s forActors who want to better understand direction and improve performance on cameraFilmmakers who want stronger, more consistent results from actorsAnyone looking to gain practical, real-world experience working on scenes https://cdn-az.allevents.in/events3/banners/a1504570-50d3-11f1-8215-97d343b7cc5a-rimg-w1200-h642-dcbfc1c1-gmir.jpg A bit about the DirectorChris Cronin is a UK-based writer and director working in grounded genre storytelling. His debut feature The Moor premiered at FrightFest in the ‘First Blood’ strand for new directors, where it won the Best Scare Award and earned him a Best Director nomination.
