You will have the freedom to weave your own small piece of fabric, it could be for the front of a cushion cover, a folded purse, placemats or a table runner to name just a few ideas, the choice is yours. These days are aimed at those who are keen to have a go but maybe don’t want to learn too much technical information (yet!) They are a fun introduction to the basics of weaving on a loom whilst also producing your own unique piece of work, selecting from a range of yarns to create your own bespoke design. The looms will be set up ready, meaning you get to enjoy a whole day just weaving. Please note that there won’t be time within the workshop to sew up your weaving into a final product. She is a Designer Maker Researcher and Educator who loves to make, create and teach. Agnis has a passion for textiles and specialises in weave.
