Three acclaimed and well-loved singer-songwriters share their stories, their songs and a stage.
SABRINA PIGGOTT
Her distinctive rippling acoustic guitar style sets the tone for a heart-melting voice, with its Celtic timbre, that pulls the emotion out of her evocative lyrics.
JOOLS PARKER
Jools’ acoustic guitar style, like her voice, holds power yet restraint. Her songs weave lyrical images and seductive melodies together, conjuring atmospheric and meaningful song-stories.
MICHELLE PLUM
One-half of Seven Arts favourites, Plumhall (with Nick Hall), Michelle is taking a side-step out of her comfort zone and is performing as a soloist, as part of this special Three Troubadours gig.
Both Jools and Michelle were part of Leeds’ own folk-rock supergroup ‘Waking The Witch’ in the mid 2000’s.
Three Troubadours is a song-writers circle, in which the artists sit in a line, and take turns to perform a song. With each time we present a Three Troubadours gig, the line-up changes, with each combination appearing only once. For this special Seven Arts event, we present three world-class female musicians and singer-songwriters.
