Through reflection activities, delegates will co-construct the content of the online modules to ensure they truly meet their needs. Participants will be expected to carry out some action research between sessions and feedback to the group.During the first day, colleagues will reflect on their current practice and develop a renewed confidence in leading Languages. They will focus on strategic subject leadership, including curriculum planning, the pillars of progression and supporting colleagues. Throughout the online modules, the emphasis will be put on active learning. Possible themes include, and are not limited to, intercultural understanding, raising the visibility of languages, phonics, curriculum audit, ideas for EYFS/KS1, promoting writing.The online sessions will take place on Zoom, 1.00 to 3.00pm, on the dates below. During my nearly 20 years of experience as a consultant, the role widened to many areas of school improvement and my expertise goes beyond Languages.
