This year, we are welcoming two recent IDEA MA alumni to present short talks on their dissertation research in Medical Ethics.The talks will be:Hannah Byrne: Screened Out? Is Prenatal Screening an Ethically Justifiable Practice?Safia Munir: Responsibility and Blame in Psychiatric PracticeThe talks will beging at 6pm so please ensure you arrive and take your place promptly.We then welcome you to join us for food and drinks, and a chance to discuss medical ethics, and our Biomedical and Healthcare Ethics programme (available as an MA or PGDip, or as an MA for intercalators) for those interested.This is a free event, open to anyone interested in medical ethics, but it will be particularly relevant to people who are potentially interested in studying Biomedical and Healthcare Ethics with us, either as a medical intercalator or by taking our MA course.For further enquiries please contact IDEA@leeds.ac.uk
