LEEDS TOWN HALL STEPS (on the Headrow)

This is a Leeds vigil (part of a national event) standing in solidarity as parents, friends, maternity users, lay birth workers and healthcare professionals stand together. We call for government action to address the urgent crisis in maternity services.

Our plan is to meet at Leeds Town Hall Steps as part of a peaceful protest to demand change. Our midwives are burnt out and working in alarming conditions, this has been happening for a long time and is past breaking point. Talking about it isn't enough. We need action NOW. 

Whether you're a health care professional, parent or birthworker, everyone is welcome who wishes to support our maternity services. 

Please join us on Sunday 20th November at 2pm and bring friends - as many as you can!
