Hand and wrist complaints are among the most frequent presentations in primary care, often proving diagnostic challenges for even experienced clinicians. This session, led by Miss Caroline Cheadle, provides a specialist’s deep dive into the "essential" list of hand pathologies.
Miss Cheadle will move beyond basic anatomy to focus on clinical pearls for diagnosis, the latest evidence-based non-surgical interventions, and clear markers for when surgical referral is the optimal path for the patient.
Miss Caroline Cheadle is a Consultant Orthopaedic Surgeon specializing exclusively in hand and wrist surgery. Having completed her fellowship at the world-renowned Pulvertaft Hand Centre, she brings a high level of expertise to both elective and complex trauma cases. Miss Cheadle is a member of the British Society for Surgery of the Hand (BSSH) and is known for her clinical interest in ligament reconstruction, basal thumb arthritis, and scaphoid work.
