Join award winning screenwriter Lisa Holdsworth for an exclusive evening at Abbey House as she shares the real story of how to make it in TV writing.

From breaking into the industry to shaping some of the UK’s most beloved dramas, Lisa will take you inside her creative process, including career highs, and the lessons learned along the way. 

Lisa Holdsworth has written episodes of Call The Midwife, Midsomer Murders, All Creatures Great and Small and the critically acclaimed play Black Teeth and a Brilliant Smile, adapted from the novel by Adelle Stripe.

She created Dreamers for Channel 4 and was Chair of the Writers Guild of Great Britain from 2019 to 2023.  She was born and lives in Leeds.
