Feels like home, 395 South Road, Sheffield, United Kingdom
Discover how to connect with nature at home thanks to the Japanese technique for growing plants without pots.
The technique was created 500 years ago by Japanese Artists who wanted to stay connected to the forest when they could no longer live in it.
The idea is to mimic real environments in which plants would naturally grow.
During the workshop you will be getting your hands dirty learning about the different soils, and mixing them together to create your very own moss ball Kokedama.
Each workshop will take approximately 1 hour
All equipment will be supplied, including the plant, soil, moss, string and tools and by the end of the session you will have your own Kokedama, to take home and enjoy.
The workshop is suitable for all, whether you are a complete beginner or an expert.
Care instructions will be provided to take home.
