CIPD Employment Law Update - 2024
2024 has already proven to be a particularly busy time for employment law and a number of changes have been introduced with more on the horizon.
At our first event of 2024, Employment Solicitor Annie Gray will be providing a useful update on the key employment changes that have arisen and are on the horizon. Advice will be given about the practical implications of these changes for your organisation and what you can do to ensure your organisation remains legally compliant.

Employment law advice clinic
After the update Annie and another employment solicitor from Schofield Sweeny Solicitors will be hosting a complimentary employment law advice clinic where you will be able to obtain some initial advice in relation to any employment law / HR headaches you have.
NB: Appointments will be limited to 5 minutes to allow ample opportunity for delegates to speak with Annie and her colleague, after which longer advice appointments can be made by appointment with Annie directly.

Annie Gray, Partner, Schofeld Sweeney Solicitors Employment.
Annie has extensive experience advising schools and employers of all sizes and offering solutions to complex issues.
She provides strategic HR and employment law advice to clients on all aspects of staff management from recruitment through to termination. This advice includes redundancy and restructuring programmes, disciplinary and grievance issues, absence and performance management, contractual changes, discrimination, TUPE and restrictive covenants.
Annie also represents clients involved in Employment Tribunal proceedings and regularly undertakes her own advocacy.
Annie has experience working within a range of sectors, including education and employment support to the corporate team on business transaction matters.

In a voluntary capacity, Annie is an employment law advisor for the College of Law pro bono advice line and is a member of the Employment Lawyers Association.
