You don't need to have any drawing experience to take part: an experienced, supportive tutor will be on hand to guide you. We'll then learn how to get the most out of watercolour, creating subtle transparent washes alongside intense passages of colour to capture the lively but fleeting energy of the birds.We will also use a range of Tim’s favourite art supplies to complement and strengthen our watercolour work.As we have a full day, you will have plenty of time to create several bird paintings, so we will take the time to slow down, look carefully, and experiment with different techniques and styles to find your own voice. He started learning to draw after a serious injury left him signed off work, and was fortunate to find that it was his passion. He has gone on to become a professional illustrator and exhibiting artist, creating lively and playful artwork for children’s book covers, commercial clients, as well as for art lovers and galleries.
