This event will provide some dedicated, distraction-free time in a relaxed environment to work on your own writing for publication.This retreat is designed to be attended in partnership with the on Wednesday 3rd June, and provides an opportunity use the skills developed in the workshop alongside other PGRs. You are encouraged to attend both events if possible, although this is not a requirement.Contributors:Dr Peter Hart works in the area of Inclusion, Childhood and Youth, with research interests in the use of gaming in education, safeguarding and professional ethics, character education, and reading comprehension. Recent projects at Leeds include using board games to develop language comprehension, young people’s perspectives on active travel, ICKLE, REACH Primary, safeguarding gaming spaces, and Narnian Virtues. He is also the Director of the WRDTP’s Education, Childhood and Youth (ECY) Pathway.Important:This is an in-person event in Leeds (lunch and refreshments will be provided).This event is open to members of WRDTP partner institutions only.Bookings will close at 9.00am on Monday 1st June.When booking, we ask that you use your institutional (.ac.uk) email address and complete all fields of the booking form.
