We see the problem of the cost-of-living and climate crises as two sides of the same coin, with continued reliance on fossil fuels driving rising costs of energy, food, and travel. Business in the Community's (BITC) Community Climate Fund (CCF) has an ambition to raise £100 million over the next five years, with the aim of scaling up community-led initiatives that tackle the intersection of social and environmental problems.

The Community Conversation will act as an introduction to the Community Climate Fund. It will also be a crucial part of the processes for identifying the types of projects which we will support, and exploring ways in which the fund can be leveraged through collaboration across different local sectors.

It’s core purpose however, is to provide a forum for local organisations, government representatives and businesses, to determine and share their views on the most important challenges facing Bradford which will then shape our priorities moving forward.
