Bring a lunch to class, and have fun socializing with other attendees.About the TeacherSofia Selden Is a mixed-media fiber artist exploring dyeing techniques in botanical prints, shibori, and hand painted silk, wool, linen and cotton. Her work is found in boutiques in Wellesley and Newburyport (Massachusetts), Kittery and Ogunquit (Maine), and she participates in art/craft fairs in Maine, Massachusetts, New York, Connecticut and Rhode Island.Introduced to dyeing fabric in 2009 at Haystack Mountain Craft School with Jeannette deNicholas Myer, she has studied with Jan Myers Newbury, Elin Noble, Jane Dunnewold, Carter Smith, Ana Lisa Hedstrom and Irit Dulman.
