- **Event Description**: Create beautiful paper and fabric with natural dyeing techniques.About this EventDiscover the magic of transforming leaves and flowers into one-of-a-kind botanical prints. Eco printing is a natural dyeing technique that uses the pigments and tannins found in plants to create beautiful, organic patterns on paper and fabric. Every print is unique—a collaboration between the plants, the materials, and a little bit of creative experimentation. In this beginner-friendly workshop, you'll explore two different eco printing methods. We'll create botanical prints on paper using a simmering dye bath method and print on cotton bandanas using the steaming method. Rather than striving for perfection, we'll embrace the surprises that make eco printing so fascinating. Some plants leave bold, colorful impressions while others create delicate, subtle patterns, and discovering what works is part of the adventure. No previous experience is necessary. Come prepared to experiment, play, and enjoy the process of working with nature's colors while creating beautiful pieces to take home.BYO Plant MaterialBring a small collection of fresh flowers and as many interesting leaves as you can gather.
