Early Bird Discount: $400 if registered by December 15, 2025

Split Payment Option: $300 deposit, second payment of $150 due by 2/12. If choosing this option a second link for payment will be sent to you.



Requirements: Participants need to provide EXACT date, time, and place of birth. A natal (birth) chart will be run for your use in class. If you do not have any of this information please email mistymeadowsherbal@gmail.com before you register.

Have you been intrigued by the tiny bit you may have heard about your Sun and Moon signs? Have you tried learning on your own but become confused? Have you taken a “beginner” class only to find yourself lost and confused again? I’ve taken several of those classes and I understand how frustrating and disheartening it can be.



Throughout these 9 classes, you will be carefully and thoroughly guided along the Western Astrology path. The pace will be gentle, giving plenty of time for each piece of this zodiacal pie to be savored and digested.

At the end of the class, you will have all the basic information necessary to read natal charts. 



The course will cover:

Planets: Their personalities, relationships to other planets, and relationships to signs.
Signs of the Zodiac: Their characteristics, relationships to planets and each other, significance of where they are in a chart
The three modes: Cardinal, Fixed, Mutable
Elements: Earth, Air, Fire, Water
Houses: The twelve houses of the chart
Angles: Ascendent, Descendent, Midheaven, Nadir
Aspects: Conjunct, Opposition, Square, Trine, Sextile
The Natal Chart: A snapshot of the heavens at the moment you drew your first breath! 12 houses, 10 planets, 1 moon, 12 signs. It all comes together to paint a picture of who you are, how you present to the world, how you think and feel and why, how past life experience is affecting your present life, how you handle money, conflict and relationships, what are your talents, what drives you...or holds you back!
Chart rulerships: What sign actually rules your chart? You may be surprised.


The study of astrology is a continuing process. This course is intended to give you the foundation and confidence to embark on this journey and to better understand yourself, your world, and the Universe in which we all live.

Overview of Astrology

Planets: Sun, Moon (nodes), Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Saturn, Jupiter, Neptune, Uranus, Pluto and Chiron

Class 3 & 4
Signs of the Zodiac: Aries, Taurus, Cancer, Gemini, Leo, Virgo, Libra, Scorpio, Sagittarius, Capricorn, Aquarius and Pisces

The Three Modes/Qualities: Cardinal, Fixed, Mutable
