Join us for Christmas with the Spirits of the Boone County Historical Society! Come take a 55-60 minute tour of this majestic Queen Anne home which is decorated for the holidays. Learn about the home and its inhabitants, the BCHS, and the spirits that linger in this festive home year round! Join us for a guided 1 hour tour of the basement, first and second floors of the home. The furniture, family heirlooms, and antiques will be identified by docents familiar with the home. Also any spirits who reside there will be discussed. There is just a little bit of time to do mini investigations in the different areas to try to communicate with the spirits. Tours are on the hour: 5pm, 6pm, 7pm, and 8pm and will accommodate 10 people each.
This is a fundraiser for the Boone County Historical Society that operates this building. They had devastating storm damage in May 2024 and this is the first Christmas they are open after restoration!
Explore the spaces the family of Strange Nathaniel Cragun used to occupy and his many prominent visitors. He was an important man in the community, publisher of a newspaper, teacher, Auditor of the State of Indiana. People have reported having experiences in this building for years ! Very limited spots available. Reservations required.

- This historic home is not accessible for different abled person. No accessible ramp or elevator available.
- Also there is no room for strollers or carts, so please leave those outside/at home.
