- **Event Description**: Grain bowls are essentially any combination of grain, protein, toppings, and sauce. But where to start? This class will get you on your wayAbout this EventGrain bowls are essentially any combination of grain, protein, toppings, and sauce. But where to start? What are the different grains and how do they taste? In this class, you will have the opportunity to taste different grains, learn about alternate proteins, batch cooking vegetables, and then make your own sauce and build a bowl to eat. Best part of grain bowls—the possibilities are endless once you get the basics down. Instructor: Lindsay Smith FAQsIs this a demo or hands-on cooking class? This is a HANDS-ON cooking class. Instead of group cooking and family style eating, everyone will now have their own station, utensils, equipment, and ingredients. If you attend a class with a partner, you will be sharing a station (table for two). You will be provided additional ingredients to share and prepare with your guest. Please select the proper ticket type as there is an additional cost. What are the safety protocols being taken? We are closely following all guidelines from the CDC and local public health officials. Given the rapidly changing nature of the pandemic, all policies and procedures are subject to change. All attendees will be required to wear masks. Masks must cover both nose and mouth. You can remove your mask briefly while tasting and dining, of course! We are restricting class size to allow for social distancing and better air circulation. Classes may fill up faster than usual, so please add your name to the waitlist. If there is enough interest, we will add additional classes. How can I sign up? Class sign-ups are available online only. Should I eat a snack before class? There is plenty of food served in each class, but depending on what type of class it is will determine when we eat. If you are hungry and it will be a while before we eat, you are always welcome to bring a small snack. Water and soda water are provided at each class. Classes offering alcohol are identified as such. Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event? Children ages 13 and over are considered participants of the class and are charged at full price. Children 12 and under can join a class with a parent already registered for a class for a reduced cost. To register a child please contact the service desk or write to classes@coopfoodstore.com for assistance. Registration is subject to space limitations. What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event? The Co-op Learning Center is located at the Centerra Park location in Lebanon, NH. The physical address is 12 Centerra Parkway, Lebanon NH 03766. There is plenty of parking in our parking lot. The closest bus line is the blue line and drops off at the Hospital. Once you enter the Co-op store, the Learning Center is located behind the prepared foods section- next to the café overflow seating area and restrooms. What can I bring into the event?
