Our yearly meeting will feature the History of our Live Oak Registry - where we started, where we are today, and the exciting features and future of this LCHS project.  How trees are measured as well as the explanation of the standardized point system will be demonstrated by the joint committee of LCHS and our partner the League City Garden Club.  The City of League City will offer suggestions on caring for and growing healthy Live Oaks.  Certificates will also be presented to a few of the newly recorded Live Oaks added to the registry this year.  Light refreshments will be served along with wine and coffee for all guests.  Our Live Oak Tree books AND a few seedling Legacy Oaks (grown from 100+ year old Live Oak acorns) will be available for a small donation.  Of course, Membership is encouraged to support the many LCHS projects and applications will be available in person and online.  Christmas decorations will be up for this wonderful celebration - Join LCHS!?
